Spring Travel Plans

Planning continues for me and Michelle's trip to South Africa. We have the majority of the travel plans and accommodation sorted out. At some point I'll post an itinerary to show where we'll be on each day. I worry about over-planning and have to make sure that we have lots of time to explore and whatnot. Michelle has done a great job on researching things to do in Cape Town. i don't think I would have included some of the stuff she has planned (abseiling!?!? Why would we do that?!) but I know it's going to be fun. I think I even have her agreeing to go wine tasting so that's progress.

It feels like spring here finally and I'm getting excited about a short trip Pam and I have planned. We're going to take a long weekend in May and blitz down to the Bonneville Salt Flats. I've been there before and love the area. Pam hasn't been before and I think she's excited to see it. It will be our first camping trip together so that will be interesting. The dogs will likely be coming with us but I have to decide what to do with the cat. Willow likes it in the car but there is always the chance of her escaping. Probably not a good idea.

So planning continues for the route for that trip.

The Land Rover packed up and ready to leave to Wyoming last year. This is what it'll have to be again for the trip to Bonneville.

Pretty majestic. He's learning how to be an outside cat and will run out the door like a prison escapee if we're not careful
